Spirit wear, fun runs and staff shirts — no envelopes.

The fall spirit wear sale, one shirt per student for the fun run, a surprise for the teachers in May, the fifth-grade shirt. Tell us what the PTO is buying for and we take you straight to how it works — who pays, what arrives where, and what we cannot do yet.

What decides a PTO order

  1. Who paysFamilies on their own at checkout, or the PTO with one payment your treasurer approves.
  2. The school dateBack-to-School Night, the fun run, Teacher Appreciation Week. We ask for it first.
  3. The school’s OKThe school name and mascot need the principal’s OK — sometimes the district’s.
  4. Next year’s chairDesigns, sizes and sponsors stay with the PTO, not with this year’s volunteer.

What is the PTO buying for?

Raising money with the store, the school itself buying, or a booster club?

A spirit wear sale

A spirit wear sale with no cash and no leftover boxes.

The sale opens at Back-to-School Night and closes a few weeks later. Families pick their own sizes and pay online; the PTO never handles an envelope and never guesses how many hoodies to buy.

  1. A store for your families. The designs your school approved on real garments, youth to adult sizes, every price shown before anyone pays; it closes on your date.
  2. Next year starts from this year. Designs and what sold stay on the PTO’s account, so next year’s chair does not start from scratch.

How should the orders arrive?
  • Each family’s order ships to them. That is how the store works today. It is opened by Court Warrior with you.
  • Everything to the school, sorted by classroom. Not something the store can do yet — it ships each order to the family. Say so on the request and a person tells you plainly what we can do.
  • The PTO earns something on each item. Ask us about a share of each sale — we tell you plainly what we can do. Or buy at group pricing and sell at your own price.

Fun run or walk-a-thon shirts

One shirt per student, the sponsors on the back.

Every runner gets the shirt, volunteers get one in another color, and the local businesses who sponsored the run are on the back. The date will not move; the sponsor list is final a week or two before it.

  1. Counts by size, from the office. Send counts by size — youth and adult — from the school’s enrollment; no student names needed.
  2. The sponsor deadline comes first. You confirm each sponsor has said yes and send the logos; we set the back before the print deadline and show you before anything is printed.

Teachers & staff

Shirts the teachers did not have to buy.

Teacher Appreciation Week in May, or the whole staff in this year’s theme shirt for the first day. The PTO pays, the sizes have to be collected quietly, and the front office, specials teachers and custodians should not be forgotten.

  1. A size link for the staff. Staff add their own sizes; only you and Court Warrior see the names — or send counts by size.
  2. One order your treasurer can approve. Garments, sizes and price in writing, before anyone pays.

What do they get?
  • A tee or a hoodie in school colors. We can quote this now.

Class & grade shirts

The fifth-grade shirt, and field day in grade colors.

The graduating grade signs each other’s shirts on the last day; field day puts every grade in its own color. Parents usually pay for the class shirt through the PTO, and the date is the end of the school year.

  1. Sizes without the paper forms. A size link for the grade’s families, with a checklist of who has paid you back — it never handles the money. Or a store where each family pays and it ships to them.

A store that raises money

Raising money with spirit wear: what we can do today.

Many spirit wear platforms pay the PTO part of each sale. Court Warrior does not run that kind of store yet, and we do not publish a figure we have not set.

  1. Buy at group pricing, sell at your price. One quote for the order you will sell at your own table or event; the price is yours to set.
  2. Or a store where families simply pay for the gear. No envelopes, no leftover boxes — it just does not add anything for the PTO.

  • The rules for your own group’s sales — sales tax included — are your treasurer’s to check.

The school itself is buying

The school buying, not the PTO?

When the school or the district pays — a team, staff gear, a school event, district purchasing — it is a school order.

  1. Every way a school buys. Spirit wear, a team, staff, an event, district purchasing.
  2. Remembered next year. Court Warrior keeps the school’s orders on file.

K–12 Schools

  • A PTO or PTA is usually its own organization, separate from the school — orders set up for the group are the group’s.

A booster club

Booster clubs back a team or a program.

A booster club raises money for a team, band or program — its orders follow that team’s season.

  1. Team and program gear. The K–12 page covers a team, its season and its families.
  2. Fundraisers. The same honest answer on stores that pay back: not switched on yet.

PTO shirt ideas, and what PTOs ask before ordering

Most PTO and PTA apparel follows the school calendar. Pick the occasion to see how it works.

How does a PTO run a spirit wear sale without collecting cash?

With a store link: families pick their own sizes and pay online, and the sale closes on your date. The PTO never handles envelopes or guesses how many hoodies to buy. A person at Court Warrior opens the store with you.

How many fun run shirts should we order?

One per student, plus a few extras for new students and volunteers; fun-run planners commonly suggest a buffer of about 3 to 5 percent. Teachers collecting sizes by classroom keeps the count honest, and a group roster link does the same for families.

Can our sponsors' logos go on the back of the fun run shirt?

Yes. Back prints are confirmed by a person: send the sponsor list when it is final, we confirm the garment, the print and the price before you order, and you approve a written proof before anything is made.

Can the PTO raise money with spirit wear?

The simplest way today: buy at group pricing and sell at a price the PTO sets. If you want a store that sends part of each sale back to the PTO, ask us and we tell you plainly what we can do.

Do we need the principal's OK to put the school name or mascot on PTO shirts?

Usually, yes, and in some districts the district's too. Tell us where approval stands and we confirm it before any proof.

How much do PTO shirts cost?

A custom adult tee designed online shows its live price in the Studio, with group prices from 12 pieces. Youth sizes and hoodies are priced by a person on your quote before you order.

Does it matter whether we are a PTA, a PTO or a PTCO?

Not for ordering. PTAs, PTOs, PTCOs and other parent groups order the same way. What matters is who pays, families at checkout or the group with one payment your treasurer approves, and the date you need them.
