Court Warrior

Court Warrior · Bands & entertainment

Merch you can sell, from one piece to a full run.

Full-colour art, no minimum, the sizes you think will sell. Tell us what the merch is for and we take you straight to what we can do — and what we do not do yet.

What decides a merch order

  1. Sold or wornSelling it at shows or online is a different order from shirts for the band and crew.
  2. The size breakdownHow many of each size you think will sell — we help you plan it, you decide it.
  3. Whose art it isYour name is yours; a photo or illustration usually belongs to whoever made it until they say yes.
  4. Where and whenYour place or a venue on the route, and the date you need it in hand — we tell you honestly if it is realistic.

Selling it at shows

Merch for the table.

A run of dates, a table by the door, a count before and after every show. You need the right sizes, art that sells, and stock where you will be — without tying up money in shirts that sit in a van.

  1. A size breakdown before the run. Tell us your crowd and how many shows; we help you plan how many of each size, and you decide.
  2. Full-colour art, no minimum. Photos, gradients and detailed illustrations print in full colour, and a short run is fine.
Whose name, art or photo is on it?
  • Our own name and art we made or own outright. We can quote it now.
  • Art or a photo someone else made for us. The illustrator or photographer usually keeps the rights unless they signed them over. For merch you sell you need their permission — we ask you to confirm it before we print.
  • A label, management or a merch company has a say. Tell us who has to approve it and we include them on the proof.
  • Someone else’s logo, lyrics, a character or a famous image. We cannot print it without the owner’s written permission.

  • Need it shipped to a venue on the route? Give us the venue, the show date and who will receive it. We do not guarantee arrival dates; we tell you plainly whether the date is realistic before you order.
  • Venues often take a cut of merch sales — plan your table price with that in mind. Your prices and your margin are yours; we quote what the run costs. Group pricing starts at twelve of one item; there is no separate resale price yet.
  • Full colour costs the same as one colour on our prints. For very large runs in one or two colours, screen printing can cost less per shirt; we will say so if that is your order.
  • Buying to resell with a resale certificate? Tell us on the request; we confirm how we can handle it before we quote.

Selling it online

A batch for your drop.

A release, a pre-order, a first-Friday sale. You sell it through your own store and ship it to fans, so you need the batch in hand before the drop — in the sizes your fans actually order.

  1. One batch, shipped to you. Printed and sent to the one address you ship your orders from.
  2. Sizes from your pre-orders. Send us your pre-order counts and we print to them.
Who sells it and ships it to fans?
  • We do, from our own store. We make the batch and ship it to you. We can quote it now.
  • We want Court Warrior to sell it to fans and pay us. Not something we do today: our private stores cannot add your markup or pay you from sales.
  • Print one at a time as fans order. We are not connected to your store. You can order single pieces yourself in the Design Studio, but we do not ship orders from your store to your fans.

  • Tell us if the art is not public yet; we keep your request to the people working on it.
  • The same rights rule applies: your name is yours; a photo or illustration needs its maker’s permission for merch you sell.
  • Next drop, your design and your size counts are where you left them — we remember the act, not just this order.

Band and crew to wear

Shirts for the band and crew.

CREW on the back, matching looks on stage, something for the people who carry the gear. Not for sale — so you just need everyone’s size and one delivery.

  1. A size link for everyone. One link; each person adds a name and a size; only you and Court Warrior see the list.
  2. One order, one delivery. We quote the list and ship it to one address.

Start a size link Free, no account. Send it to us when everyone has answered.

  • Printed names are not something we can promise today; CREW or your name on the back is.
  • Venue staff and festival crew can order the same way.
  • Next tour, your crew list and design are still here.

Trying a design first

See it on a shirt before you print a run.

A new design, a sample for the band to argue over, a one-off for a friend who has been to every show. One piece is an order here.

  1. Design it yourself, one piece. Upload your art in the Design Studio, choose the garment, colour and size, and pay at checkout.
  2. Or a few, quoted. Tell us the design and sizes and we quote a handful before you commit to a run.

  • Upload art at full size — at least 300 dpi — for a sharp print.
  • When the sample works, start from “Selling it at shows” and we keep the design for the run.
  • The rights rule still applies: your name is yours; someone else’s photo or illustration needs their permission.

Theatre company, dance studio or choir

Cast, company and recital shirts.

Opening-night cast shirts, a crew shirt for the run, a recital tee with every dancer’s name. The company pays or families pay — and a licensed show’s title and logo come with the licensor’s rules.

  1. A size link for the company. One link; each person adds a name and a size; only you and Court Warrior see the list.
  2. The show logo question, first. We ask whose logo goes on it before we design anything.

Start a size link Free, no account.

Does a licensed show’s title or logo go on it?
  • Only our company, studio or season name. We can quote it now.
  • The show’s title or logo. The show’s licensor sets the rules. One major licensor’s published rule: shirts you make from its logo pack go only to cast and crew, at cost; shirts for sale come from the licensor. Check your licence; we do not make show-logo shirts for sale.
  • Dancers’ or cast members’ names. Printed names are not something we can promise today — tell us and we say plainly what we can make.

  • Children’s names never appear in any Court Warrior example or photo.
  • Next season’s director finds this season’s design and sizes where you left them.

Venue, promoter or festival

Venue, promoter or festival.

Staff and security shirts, house merch with your own name, festival crew. Artists’ merch at your event belongs to the artists — anything with an artist’s name needs that artist’s written OK.

  1. Staff and crew shirts. Use a size link and one quote — the same way bands order crew shirts.
  2. House merch with your own name. Tell us what you want to sell under your own name and we quote it.
